If you could ask 10 questions of any ancestor that you would like to who would it be, why and what questions would you ask?

Lori Bottomley said...: Well, since I know Mary and others will ask the pertinent genealogy questions of the appropriate ancestors, I have to admit that my #1 choice of who I'd want to chat with is grandma Mary Bullock Donohoo. Here are some of the questions I'd ask her:
1. What made you fall in love with grampa? (included in this question would be the story of how they met and courted.)
2. What went through your mind when grampa changed mom's name to Mary Karen in the middle of the blessing without telling you? Was he in trouble? =)
3. What was it like growing up on a ranch so far away from everything and having to leave home each year for school while so young?
4. Who was your first guy crush?
5. What was your favorite song, color, treat etc?
6. What song or story did you tell my mom while rocking her to sleep?
7. What would have told my mom when she wanted to get married at 17?
8. What advice would you have given my mom when she got married and started raising a family?
9. What was your favorite Christmas tradition growing up and also with your children?
